CTS is a search federation service with a data collaboration member network. CTS does not directly host databases. Its main purpose is to help users find the climate solution data they need from the connected member sites. It then redirects the users to the member websites, from which details can be viewed and local community/industry support can be found.

Building and operating a global search federation service for a small vertical sector like climate solutions is an inherently capital-intensive endeavor with no commercial viability but public good value. Tencent is pro-bonoly supporting the setting up and operation of the search federation service under the company agnostic brand ‘TanLIVE’. Each member site joining the data collaboration network bear its own cost during the connection to the CTS federation service.

A. Submit through a CTS partner
All CTS partners are dedicated to supporting climate technologies and matchmaking for years by providing services in certain region or sector pro-bonoly. By submitting your solution information to one or more CTS partners, your solution will be indexed to CTS via partner databases so that your solution information are shown as verified and contributed by the well-known partners as well as enjoy the additional free services provided by partners. You can submit your solution in two steps:
- Register here to submit the basic information about your solution. It usually takes 20-40 minutes Our team then comes back to you with the outcome of your Submission: if your Solution is validated, it will already be displayed on the Solution Explorer as a Featured Solution as well as get listed in the CTS, and you will be able to advance to the labeling process.
- Submit the second part in your solution explorer console. This part requires more detailed information than the first part and is expected to be filed in a few hours. After which Solar Impulse Foundation will invite 3 independent experts reviewing your technology and provide you with evaluations and comments. The evaluation is free.
